Monday, January 5, 1:30–5:00 p.m.
Scenic Land and Sea Tour
This tour will take guests through many of the city’s most interesting areas over both land and sea. The ground tour will include Old Town, San Diego’s original settlement; Balboa Park, considered to be one of the most beautiful and culturally enriching parks in North America, home to 14 museums and the site of the Panama-California Exposition in 1915; and the historic Gaslamp Quarter and Seaport Village with a view of the Pacific Ocean. After the city tour, guests will board a public harbor tour boat for a cruise along the San Diego Bay for a view of the city and bustling harbor from a completely different perspective. Professional guides will narrate points of interest such as the Coronado Bay Bridge, the Navy shipyards, and aircraft carriers. Guests might even see a seal or two along the way.

Tuesday, January 6, 1:30–5:00 p.m.
Old Town Historical Tour
The history of early California will be featured as guests explore Old Town San Diego. This historical landmark has the distinction of being the first European settlement on the Western coast of the United States. An expert guide, dressed in period attire, will lead the tour, noting historic sites of the area, which include many preserved and restored haciendas and adobes that present the lifestyle of the early 1800s. Participants also will have time to explore Old Town’s many shops and quaint eateries that feature some of the most authentic Mexican fare this side of the border. Other attractions include various artisan shops where guests can share in the creative vision of talented designers and crafters.
