The Newseum

Participants are invited to tour the Newseum (Pennsylvania Avenue and Sixth Street, NW) at a discounted rate ($19 versus $22.95 at the door). This is a self-guided tour, and the tickets are good for two days (there is a lot to see).

Participants who have pre-registered may pick up tickets at the CIC Registration Desk on Friday morning. Participants might want to have lunch after the conference adjourns before touring the Newseum. Several good restaurants are nearby, including the Source, an Asian-fusion fine-dining restaurant headlined by Chef Wolfgang Puck that is next to the Newseum.
