An On-Going Conversation Share Share this page on Twitter Share this page on Facebook Share this page on LinkedIn Print this page Email this page Page ContentAs a learning community, NetVUE seeks to enrich the intellectual and theological exploration of vocation. Learning communities are more beneficial when members share common readings, reflect intentionally, and compare their perspectives. At the 2013 NetVUE Conference, the initiatives described below will enhance efforts to build a NetVUE community of reflection and discernment. Pre-Conference Readings All conference participants will be asked to complete short readings to help focus discussions throughout the conference. Participants will be notified in advance of the conference how to access these readings. Guided Reflections on Vocation Conference participants will have the opportunity to consider their own vocations through quiet reflection. Participants will receive guidance about these opportunities upon arrival in Indianapolis. Small Discussion Groups On Thursday afternoon, participants will meet in small groups of campus leaders with similar roles on NetVUE campuses. The primary purpose of these groups will be to compare and contrast approaches to the intellectual and theological understandings of vocation and to consider ways to sustain the vocational conversation over time. Regional Conversations The Friday morning breakfast will provide opportunities for participants to meet with leaders from other NetVUE campuses in the same geographic region. Campus Team Conversations The Saturday morning breakfast will allow campus teams to talk about next steps for vocational initiatives on their individual campuses. Each team can determine the focus and time for its follow-up discussion.
