About the Conference

The conference aims to help campus communications professionals develop techniques that work, prepare news materials that produce results, and make contacts with some of the nation’s top reporters, editors, freelance writers, producers, booking agents, educational correspondents, and campus news professionals.   • Create and pitch story ideas to editors and freelancers;
  • Propose radio and television features;
  • Pitch article ideas via email, mail, telephone, and distribution services; and
