She has performed in Les Misérables (Cosette) with Reagle Music Theater, Cosi Fan Tutte (Fiordiligi) with NEMPAC Opera Project, Carmen (Frasquita) with MetroWest Opera, A Christmas Carol (Christmas Past) with Anthem Theatre Company, and The Magic Flute and I Puritani (Ensemble) with Boston Lyric Opera, among other roles. A finalist in the 2012 American Opera Idol Competition, McKeller was selected by legendary soprano Lynne Strow-Piccolo to receive the prestigious Artist Award.In addition to performing across the United States and in Europe, McKeller has helped execute many benefit concerts and recitals, raising awareness and funds for programs such as Jane Doe Inc., the Massachusetts Coalition against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and UNICEF.McKellar received her masters of music from the Boston Conservatory, where she was a member of the Opera Studio and received first place in the conservatory's Chamber Music Competition. She graduated with her bachelor of arts degree from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, where she majored in music and pursued extensive studies in literature, psychology, and Italian. While at Hollins, McKellar studied abroad in Milan, Italy at the Verdi Conservatory and Civica Della Musica. She performed frequently with the University's Opera Studio, Hollins University Opera Outreach, the Hollins Repertory Dance Company, the American College Dance Festival, and in recital and concert works throughout the greater Roanoke area. McKellar is also active in new music, dance, film, television, and film score recordings, and is featured artist in a number of Boston's film and television projects.
