New York Times Student News Editors Workshop

About the Workshop

The New York Times Student News Editors Workshop, “Inside the Times,” is organized annually by the Times and the Council of Independent Colleges and allows student news editors to spend a day at the New York Times exploring the role of a newspaper in society, meeting with Times correspondents and editors, and developing their journalistic skills. The Student News Editors Workshop was held annually from 2004 to 2019; the workshop was not held in 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic precautions.

This opportunity is available only to student editors at campuses that are members of the CIC/NYT Partnership in Education.
