Instructions for Completing the Form:
  1. For proper tracking of applications and for security reasons, accessing the application form requires authentication. To review the application form and to submit an application, please use the Sign In link at the top of the page to sign in with your username (institutional email address) and CIC password. If you do not know your CIC password, you can retrieve your password online (If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one).

  2. Next, please be prepared to submit an application package (Word or PDF) consisting of the essay responses.

  3. Attach your application package, complete the form fields below, and click submit. If you have questions, contact Stephen Gibson, CIC director of programs, at (202) 466-7230.
Please list each member of your campus team. Institutional teams should consist of (a) the chief academic officer or another appropriate senior academic officer, (b) the library director or a librarian with specialized training in foreign languages, literatures, or cultures, and (c) two full-time faculty members from departments relevant to the focus of the workshop. Please also describe the capacity of each team member to advance information fluency on the entire campus.
