CIC Cancellation Policies

Refunds of the registration fee (less a $50 processing fee) will be given for cancellations received, in writing (including email), by Friday, October 29. Cancellations received in writing after October 29 will incur a charge equal to 25 percent of the total registration fee. Refunds may not be available to those who cancel after November 5 or to those who do not cancel in writing. Registrants may ask for exceptions to be considered for late cancellations related to health and safety. All refunds will be issued after the Institute. Please send cancellation notifications and refund requests to the attention of Tabitha Truscott, CIC conference and program manager, at ttruscott@cic.edu. (Note: This policy was revised on September 29, 2021, in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.)

Please note: Participants must cancel their own hotel reservations. Canceling your Institute registration does not cancel your hotel reservation. Please contact the Galt House Hotel directly at (502) 589-5200 or follow the directions on the hotel reservation confirmation to cancel. Reservations can be changed without a fee or canceled for a full refund up to 48 hours of anticipated arrival.
