Please register for the Institute online. You may pay for the Institute by:
  1. Credit card payment online; or

  2. Mailing a check payable to “Council of Independent Colleges,” with memo indication for the CAO Institute and a printout of your registration information, to:

To ensure timely preparation of accurate and complete conference materials, please register for the Institute by October 1, 2019. The deadline for the early-bird registration rate is September 6, 2019.

Registration for Spouses and Partners

There is a separate registration fee for spouses and partners of CAOs and CAdOs. It includes the opening reception and buffet dinner, all plenary sessions, a welcoming coffee hour, breakfast discussions, and concurrent presentations. Spouses and partners who wish to attend only specific events such as the welcoming buffet dinner should sign up only for that activity and not register for the full Institute.

CIC Conference Registration and Cancellation Policies

Please note that CIC requires full payment by check or credit card at the time of registration, and registration confirmation will be sent only upon receipt of payment.

Refunds of the registration fee (less a $50 processing fee) will be given for cancellations received, in writing (including email), no later than October 2, 2019. Refund requests received between October 3 and October 23 will incur a charge equal to 25 percent of the total registration fee. No refunds will be issued after October 23, 2019.
