    CIC’s third Talking about Private Colleges: Busting the Myths workshop took place at the University of Puget Sound (WA) on February 27, 2020. The participants—65 presidents, trustees, chief academic officers, faculty members, and other cabinet officers and senior administrative leaders—reviewed key data about the independent nonprofit sector in higher education.  Read the full article

    New Report Showcases How Campuses Can ‘Bring Collections to Light’

    The report highlights a five-year project in which 42 member colleges and universities digitized large collections of materials in support of teaching, learning, and student/faculty research. Members of the CIC Consortium on Digital Resources for Teaching and Research demonstrated that small colleges have the capacity to digitize their important collections to broaden use on campus, within research communities, and throughout the world.  Read the full article

    The new report explores lessons learned and best practices developed by the 43 institutions that participated in CIC’s Intergenerational Connections: Students Serving Older Adults project. The online report serves as a practical resource for academic leaders, faculty members, students, and representatives of community organizations who seek to foster intergenerational initiatives in campus communities.  Read the full article
