Isaac Holeman cofounded Medic Mobile, a tech startup that uses low-cost mobile technology to create connected, coordinated health systems, and until 2012 he co-led the organization. As chief strategist, he focused on implementation, impact strategy, designing first versions of Medic Mobile’s SIM card and web applications, and developing human centered design. He was named mHealth innovator of the year in 2011 for his work using mobile technology to innovate in healthcare. He has also been awarded Echoing Green, Compton, and Pamplin fellowships to pursue leadership opportunities and entrepreneurship, and was inducted into Better World by Design’s Hall of Fame in 2012.

He is currently a Gates Cambridge Scholar, pursuing a doctorate in management studies at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. There he conducts research to improve and spread Medic Mobile's impact across the globe.

The kind of education suited to a life of innovation is less about imparting facts…and more about the way you see the world.
