The 2005 CIC Presidents
Institute, at the Marco Island Marriott in Florida, attracted record-breaking
attendance, a successful program for spouses, and perfect weather
and a beautiful setting for the opening reception and dinner.

UPS Foundation President Evern Cooper accepted CIC’s
Award for Philanthropy on behalf of the UPS Foundation. The Foundation
earned the CIC Award for its ongoing commitment to the private
sector of higher education, particularly through its support of
the Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE)/UPS National
Venture Fund.

were honored during the Presidents Institute banquet. Pictured
