Marco Island, Florida was the site of the 2001 CIC Presidents Institute. The meetingwith approximately 600 attendeeswas one of the most successful in recent memory. Participants enjoyed a variety of sessions, chances to exchange ideas with their peers, and an Awards Banquet.

During the Presidents Institute awards banquet, Richard W. Kimball (left), President and CEO of The Teagle Foundation, was honored with the Allen P. Splete Award for Outstanding Service and Jonathan T. Howe, Executive Director of The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, was presented with CIC's 2001 Award for Philanthropy.   CIC President Richard Ekman and CIC Board Chair Margaret A. McKenna, President, Lesley University (MA), present Dennis Vest (center), President and Chief Executive Officer of The Charitable Resources Group, with a plaque honoring the company for providing ten consecutive years of generous support for the Presidents Institute.
