C. Providing Recognition for Co-Curricular Offerings,
     Including Courses With and Without Credit

Long-term change in campus culture can be fostered by those who are offering co-curricular and extra-curricular components of experiential education.

• Illinois College - The Illinois Parntership of Minority Achievement
  Sponsorship of annual celebration dinners for students and their parents are arranged.
  
  
• Madonna University - Certificate in Community Leadership
  The certificate is designed to help undergraduate students develop a moral and ethical framework for learning about community leadership roles. They are expected to gain the conceptual knowledge and experiential base needed to enhance community living. Students are prepared to be actively engaged in community service upon graduation.
  
  
• Marywood University - The Latino Collaboration
  In a co-curricular mode, the student association has assisted in a Latino voter registration drive and in collecting donated items. Cultural diversity workshops are also promoted within the community and on campus.
  
  
• Messiah College - The Harrisburg Institute
  The Harrisburg Initiative encouraged the incorporation of its objectives into co-curricular activities.
  
  
• New England College - Project Pericles
  The promotion of socially responsible citizenship is seen as a co-curricular aim as well as being a part of curriculum development.
  
  
• North Central College - The Dispute Resolution Center
  Graduate students may obtain a certificate in dispute resolution.
  
  
• Otterbein College - Community Service Learning Center
  Quarterly celebrations are held to recognize student leaders.
