Questions & CommentsProtocol for Collaboration

The Protocol for Collaboration is a formal agreement signed by CIC, the Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE), and the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), to work together more closely on joint projects and programs benefiting private colleges and universities. Since its signing in the summer of 2000, several ongoing collaborative projects have resulted from the agreement, such as the Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT), the FIHE/UPS Venture Fund, and production of the publication Independent Colleges and Universities: A National Profile.
