as president of Bethune-Cookman College (FL) for 29 years. During his
tenure, college enrollments, the endowment, and physical plant were greatly
expanded. He has served as a national spokesman on many boards and is
a widely known leader for his work with the National Association for Equal
Opportunity in Higher Education Robert J. Bruce was president of Widener University (PA) for 20 years and previously in senior administrative functions at Colby (ME), Bard (NY), and Clarke (IA) Colleges. He successfully reorganized Widener’s administrative structure, enhanced undergraduate research opportunities, and fostered the development of graduate and professional programs. Emerson served as president of Wheaton College (MA) for 16 years. She was a senior fellow and senior advisor at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. He served for ten years as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College at Concordia College (MN). of Mount Saint Mary's University (MD) for nine years. He held several
senior administrative posts in the area of finance at Georgetown University
(DC). He has experience as a CPA and extensive work in the area of accreditation.

During his tenure, the College increased enrollment of high-achieving students, increased endowment, and improved graduation rates. Morrill has held three presidencies—Salem College (NC), Centre College (KY), and for ten years the University of Richmond (VA), where he is currently chancellor. (NH). For eight years, she worked in business as president of the Midwest
Institute for Training and Education, an organizational development, training,
and Eugene M. Tobin is a senior advisor to the Office of the President and the Liberal Arts Colleges Program at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. He was president of Hamilton College (NY) for ten years. Strategic planning, implementation of an intensive, interdisciplinary, and assessment-oriented curriculum, and major fundraising success marked his college tenure.
