The preconference workshop on Wednesday, June 26, will feature campus communications executives from Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Penn State, Amherst, and others who will share their stories and strategies for communicating with the media, the public, and the community using social media during a crisis. Journalists will discuss their crisis coverage pursuits and what they find when campuses go on "red alert."
