Fact 4 - Fine Arts
Independent college alumni surveyed are than twice as likely as public university graduates to say that their college experience was extremely effective at helping them develop an appreciation for the fine arts (37 percent vs. 17 percent).

Survey Question: How effective was your college experience in helping you with appreciating the fine arts, such as music, literature, and theatre? (Rating a "5" on a 5-point scale with "1" meaning "not at all effective" and "5" meaning "extremely effective.")
