Independent college graduates say that their education was worth the money – and consider their student loans a good investment.
Fact 1 - Education as a Good Investment
Independent college graduates surveyed are more likely than public university
graduates to believe their financial investment in college was worth it
(89 percent vs. 83 percent).
Fact 2 - More Likely to Take Out Loans
Although independent college alumni surveyed are more likely than public
university alumni to have taken out a loan to attend college, among those
independent college alumni who took out loans to finance their education,
94 percent say the loans were a good investment.
