Fact 3 - Balance of Academics and Personal Development
Independent college alumni surveyed are more likely than public university alumni to say they benefited very much from a good balance between academics and social and personal development (32 percent vs. 23 percent).

Survey Question: Please tell me how much you personally benefited from your college offering a good balance between academics and social and personal development. (Rating a “5” on a 5-point scale with "1" meaning you did "not benefit at all" and a "5" meaning you "benefited very much.")
