General Information
The Hilton Savannah Desoto hotel is located in the of the historic, dining,
shopping and Theatre Districts of Savannah, Georgia and just a short walk
to bustling River Street and City Market in Savannah, Georgia. The Hilton
Savannah Desoto hotel is situated just 20 minutes or 14 miles from the
Savannah International Airport and is located conveniently near the Intercoastal
Marina.
Directions to the Hotel
From Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV): From Interstate
I-95 north or south bound, exit at 99A (I-16 east), follow to the end
where it feeds into Montgomery Street. At the first stop light turn right
onto Liberty Street. Follow for 5 blocks to the Hilton which will be on
your right hand side. Ample valet or self indoor parking is available.
Airport Transportation

Adventures/Gray Line shuttle transportation is available from Savannah/Hilton
Head International Airport to Hilton Head Island and the Savannah area.
The shuttle leaves after each arriving flight. Reservations can be made
through their website or by calling (800) 845-5582. Per person fare is
$17.00 one-way and $29.00 round-trip.
Taxi service is available with a number of cab companies to and from
the airport. Rate is $25.00 per person to downtown Savannah. Should you

Directions to the Hotel
From Portland International Airport (PDX): Start out
going west and turn left. Turn slight left onto NE Airport Wy and merge
onto I-205 S/Veterans Memorial Hwy toward I-84/Portland/Salem. Merge onto
I-84 W/US-30 W via exit 21B toward Portland. Take the I-5 S exit on the
left toward Salem/Beaverton. Then take the exit toward Morrison St./City
Center. Turn slight right onto Morrison Bridge and stay straight to go
onto ramp. Turn right onto SW 2nd Avenue, then turn left onto SW Oak St.
Turn left onto SW Broadway and end at Benson hotel 309 SW Broadway.
From North:
Take I-5 South to exit 302A (Rose Garden/City Center). Go Right to Broadway
Bridge and cross over the bridge & continue into the City Center (on
Broadway). The Benson Hotel is 1.2 miles from the Freeway exit on the
right at Southwest Broadway at Oak.
From East:
Take I-84 West to I-5 South. Follow the signs to City Center. Cross over
the Morrison Bridge, then take a right on 2nd Ave. Go 2 blocks to Oak
St. & turn Left (Oak to Broadway). The Benson is at Oak and Broadway.
From South:
Take I-5 North to I-405/Naito Parkway exit. Turn right on Naito Parkway
and 3/4 mile to Oak Street. Turn Left on Oak and proceed 7 blocks to Broadway,
The Benson is on the corner of Oak and Broadway.
From West:
Take Sunset Highway (US 26) to Market St. Exit. Turn left on 12th to Burnside
St, then right on Burnside to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway to Oak.
The Benson is on the corner of Oak and Broadway.
Airport Transportation
The pick-up area for taxis, long-haul shuttles, and parking lot shuttle
buses is located in the center section of the airport terminal's lower
roadway on the baggage claim and departure level. Airport shuttles, off-airport
rental car shuttles and reserved vehicles are found in the section of
the lower roadway closest to the garage. Most transportation providers
serve downtown Portland, which is approximately 20-40 minutes from Portland
International Airport.

the airport to downtown Portland. Cab fares are approximately $30.00 per

Shuttle service is provided by Green Cab Company to downtown Portland
for $14.00 per person one-way. Reservations are required at least 24 hours

MAX Red Line is located steps away from the airport baggage claim area
and provides transportation from the airport to downtown in abut 35 minutes.
MAX leaves the airport every 15 minutes between the hours of 5:00 am and
11:30 pm daily. Take the MAX to the Pioneer
Square North stop on Morrison Street. Take a right off the MAX and
walk to the crosswalk on Broadway. Cross Broadway (toward Nordstrom) and
turn right. Walk down 3.5 blocks toward The Benson, hotel is on the left.
The fare is $1.95 one-way and $3.90 round-trip.

Valet parking is available with unlimited in and out privileges at a rate

From Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE): Take I-71 North to downtown
Cleveland. Exit on Ontario Street (N), go 4 blocks and turn left on Huron.
To the end of Huron turn right on Superior. The hotel and hotel parking
garage on the right. Estimated taxi fare from the airport is $22.00 one-way.
From Akron-Canton Airport (CAK): Take I-77 North for approximately
50 miles. Exit at East 9th Street. Go North to St. Clair, then turn left
on St. Clair to West 3rd. Turn left on West 3rd and go two blocks to the
end of the street. The Hotel is at the end of the street at West 3rd and
Superior. Estimated taxi fare is $50.00 one-way.
Airport Transportation
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides convenient
service to and from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). RTA's
red line provides regular service between CLE and downtown Cleveland via
the Tower City Station. The trip takes less than 30 minutes, and trains
depart from CLE every fifteen minutes for the majority of the day. Fare
is $1.50 each way. RTA's station at CLE is located on the lower level
of the main terminal. To reach the RTA station, travelers should use the
elevators or escalators located in the center of the ticketing and baggage
claim levels.
Royal Fleet Limousine & Airport Shuttle Service is available from
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for $18.00 per person each way
for shuttle service, and $35.00 each way for sedan service. Contact them

in advance.
