Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at (312) 329-2500, or by calling (800) 321-2211. This is a toll free number for all Marriott hotels. Be sure to specify the Marriott Courtyard on East Hubbard Street. Room rates are $135 single/double. When making hotel reservations, please state that you are with the Council of Independent Colleges' Transformation of the College Library Workshop to receive the discounted group rate. The reservation cut-off date is Monday, August 29, 2005. Any reservations made after that time will be accommodated at the group rate on a space-available basis.

Ground Transportation
To Marriott Courtyard from Chicago/O'Hare Airport - ORD
Driving directions: Take I-190 East to I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) east to the Ohio Street Exit. Ohio Street is a one-way street eastbound. Take Ohio to State. Turn right on State, and go to Hubbard (3rd light). Turn left and hotel entrance is on the left. Note: for those driving to the hotel, only valet parking is available on site and is $36 per day.

Subway service: $1.50 (one way)
Estimated taxi fare: $40.00 (one way)

To Marriott Courtyard from Chicago/Midway Airport - MDW
Driving directions: Take Cicero Avenue north to I-55 North. Take I-90/94 West into downtown. Exit Ohio Street (one-way eastbound). Make a right on State. Hotel is on the corner of State and Hubbard. Note: for those driving to the hotel, only valet parking is available on site and is $36 per day.

Subway service: $1.50 (one way)
Estimated taxi fare: $30.00 (one way)

Shuttle Transportation
From Chicago/O'Hare Airport - ORD
The Continental Airport Express shuttle departs from O'Hare airport every 10-15 minutes for downtown service to Chicago hotels. Loading zones for boarding the Airport Express van are at Door 1E, Door 2D, and Door 3E across from baggage claim on the Baggage Claim level. The last Airport Express van leaves O'Hare at 11:30 p.m. seven nights a week. Tickets may be purchased over the phone by calling (888) 284-3826. To purchase tickets at the terminal, Airport Express ticket counters are located at Door 1E, Door 2D, and Door 3E, lower level across from baggage claim on the Baggage Claim level.

Airport Express One Way/Roundtrip Fares (from O'Hare)
Single - $24/$44
Double - $17/$32 (per person - all travelers have to ride together)
3 or more - $13/$25 (per person - all travelers have to ride together)

From Chicago/Midway Airport - MDW
The Continental Airport Express shuttle departs from Midway airport every 15 minutes for downtown service to Chicago hotels. The airport express ticket counter and loading zone is located at Door 3, lower level across from baggage claim. Reservations from Midway to downtown are not necessary. The last Airport Express van leaves Midway at 10:30 pm seven nights a week.

Return Travel To O'Hare/Midway:
Reservations in advance are required for the Continental Airport Express shuttle service when traveling to O'Hare/Midway airports. All fares are due at time of pickup. Cash can be paid directly to the Driver. Credit cards (American Express, Visa and Mastercard) are accepted at both airports. When making a reservation for service to Midway, you can put it on your credit card via the Aiport Express website or by calling directly at (888) 284-3826. Our Drivers do not accept credit cards.

Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at (615) 320-1700, or by calling (800) 336-3335. Room rates are $149 single/double plus taxes. When making hotel reservations, please ask for the Transformation of the College Library Workshop to receive the discounted group rate. The reservation cut-off date is Friday, January 20, 2006. Any reservations made after that time will be accommodated at the group rate on a space-available basis. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 noon. Reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours prior to arrival without penalty.

General Information:
The hotel is just 15 minutes from Nashville International Airport, 1.5 miles from Downtown Nashville, and across the street from the entrance to Vanderbilt University.

Shuttle and Taxi Transportation:
From Nashville International Airport
The Gray Line Airport Express Shuttle services the downtown and west end hotels of Nashville from the Nashville International Airport. Service begins at 5:00 a.m. and runs until 11:00 p.m. It departs every 15-20 minutes from the airport and every 30 minutes from most hotels. Reservations are not required for the service from the Airport.

Return travel to Nashville International Airport:
The Gray Line Airport Express Shuttle departs Loews Vanderbilt Hotel approximately every half hour, at ten minutes to the hour and 20 minutes after the hour from 6:10 a.m. - 7:40 p.m. If you will be departing after this time and need to make a reservation for pick-up, please call Gray Line at 1-800-251-1864, or visit their website at reservations@graylinenashville.com to make a reservation.

The charge is $12.00 per person for a one-way trip, and $18.00 per person for a round trip.

Taxi service to and from Nashville International Airport is approximately $20.00 each way. Each additional person is $1.00

From Logan Airport
Follow signs to I-90 Mass Pike West. Exit 20 "Cambridge/Allston". Follow signs to Cambridge. Take a left at the second set of lights onto Storrow Drive West. Exit at Harvard Square crossing the Charles River and staying on JFK Street. Entering Harvard Square, The Coop will be on your left and Out of Town News on your right, move into the left lane. Keep left at the fork, and turn left at the lights. Cross into the right lane, and take your first right onto Garden Street. The Sheraton Commander is a 1/4 mile up on your left.

From Points North
Take I-93 South to Exit 26 "Storrow Drive West." Follow Signs to Newton. Exit at Harvard Square crossing the Charles River and staying on JFK Street. Entering Harvard Square The Coop will be on your left and Out of Town News on your right, move into the left lane. Keep left at the fork, and turn left at the lights. Cross into the right lane, and take your first right onto Garden Street. The Sheraton Commander is a 1/4 mile up on your left.

From Points South
Take I-93/ Route 3 North to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Exit 20 "Cambridge/Allston". -Follow signs to Cambridge. Take a left at the second set of lights onto Storrow Drive West. Exit at Harvard Square crossing the Charles River and staying on JFK Street. Entering Harvard Square, The Coop will be on your left and Out of Town News on your right, move into the left lane. From Points West
Take Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 18 "Cambridge/Allston" (this is a left-hand exit). Follow signs to Cambridge. Take a left at the second set of lights onto Storrow Drive West. Exit at Harvard Square crossing the Charles River and staying on JFK Street. Entering Harvard Square, The Coop will be on your left and Out of Town News on your right, move into the left lane. Keep left at the fork, and turn left at the lights. Cross into the right lane, and take your first right onto Garden Street. The Sheraton Commander is a 1/4 mile up on your left.

Subway Transportation (from Logan Airport)
The Sheraton Commander is located near the Harvard Square station on the Red Line. Take the Blue Line towards Government Center. Switch to the Green Line (Government Center stop). Switch to the Red Line (Park Street stop). Exit the train at the Harvard Square Station via Church Street. Turn right out of the station and then take the second left onto Garden Street. The Sheraton Commander is two blocks up on the left. Detailed Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) fare and schedule information may be found at www.mbta.com.

Airport Transportation
Shuttle service is provided by Candiani. You can find the shuttle outside of baggage claim in the "Shared Van Area." The shuttle runs every hour, and reservations are not required when leaving the airport. Reservations are required when leaving the hotel. Please call Candiani 24 hours before departure to secure your reservation. They can be reached at (617) 438-3684. Fares to and from the airport are listed below:

1 passenger: $20 each way
2-4 passengers: $14 per person, each way
5 or more passengers: $12 per person, each way

Taxi Service
Boston taxis are available at Logan terminals 24 hours a day and services all of New England. All areas within a 12-mile radius of downtown Boston are charged a metered rate. Beyond the 12-mile radius the charge is a flat rate. All fares are based upon the occupancy of one to four passengers per taxi. Station wagons, accessible taxis for persons with disabilities, and credit card taxis are available upon request at Logan Airport. See a Massport Ground Transportation agent, located outside of each terminal on the arrival level, for further assistance. Station wagon and van taxicabs are entitled to an additional $5 fee if a passenger has excessive luggage, skis or boxes.

Hotel Parking
Hotel parking at the Sheraton Commander is available at a rate of $10 per night.
