2006 EDUCAUSE Regional Conferences

January 10-12: Mid-Atlantic (Baltimore, MD)
February 22-24: Southwest (Austin, TX)
March 13-15: Midwest (Chicago, IL)
April 24-26: Western (San Francisco, CA)
June 19-21: Southeast (Atlanta, GA)

At each EDUCAUSE Regional Conference, CIC and EDUCAUSE are co-sponsoring two sessions specifically tailored for private institutions. The first is a presentation and discussion of the growing importance of electronic portfolios of students’ work—for reflective student learning, for the scholarship of teaching, for advising, and for program and institutional assessment. Many of you are already using ePortfolios on your campuses. For you, these discussion sessions will be an opportunity to share what you’ve learned. Others are just beginning to explore these powerful tools for learning and assessment. These sessions will be an opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and experts identified by EDUCAUSE, who will co-facilitate the discussions with Ed Barboni, CIC’s Senior Advisor on technology-related learning issues. The second session for CIC participants will be the popular "birds of a feather" luncheon roundtable discussions, which provide opportunities to connect with other CIC members in your region. Both of these sessions take place on the second day of each conference.
