BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS WITH COLLEGE CAMPUSES:
This monograph, Building
Partnerships with College Campuses: Community Perspectives, provides
the complete findings from a summit of community partners, along with
their recommendations for improving community/campus engagement activities.
Also available is a copy of the accompanying brochure
that summarizes the key findings from the summit and outlines the major
characteristics of successful community/campus partnerships.
RECONSIDERING FACULTY ROLES This report, Reconsidering Faculty Roles and Rewards: Promising Practices
for Institutional Transformation and Enhanced Learning, summarizes
results of a three-year CAPHE program, "Faculty Roles, Faculty Rewards,
and Institutional Priorities." Through the program, which was supported
by a $1 million grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts, 22 colleges and
universities received grants to explore ways to clarify emerging new relationships
between institutional mission and priorities and faculty roles and rewards.

THE INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY: This report, The Intentional Community: Colleges and Community Groups
Helping Low-Income Youth Prepare for College, summarizes results of
a six-year College/Community Partnership Program. This program was jointly
administered by CAPHE and Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America's
Dollars for Scholars Program. The program was supported by two separate
$1 million grants from DeWitt Wallace-Reader's Digest Fund. The report
focuses on the efforts of 24 college/community partnerships to prepare

ASSESSING INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: In the mid 1980s, 10 small liberal arts institutions took part in a CAPHE-funded project designed to improve the way colleges assess their effectiveness as institutions. The results of the project are summarized in this book, which also ncludes a set of practical recommendations for administrators. 1988, 110 pgs. Price: $16.95
