Frequently Asked Questions
What is my username?
Your username is your email address on record with CIC. If you have multiple
email addresses, make sure you are logging in with the email address on
record with CIC.
What is my password?
Your initial password is a default password automatically assigned to
you by CIC. On your first login attempt, you will be asked to change your
password to your own personalized password that you will remember on future
visits.
What if I don't know my login information?
Simply use the Retrieve
Password link to have your login information emailed to your email
address on record with CIC.
What if I'm not a CIC member?
Other institutions also have records maintained in CIC's database. While
only CIC member institutions are actively reminded to update their information,
nonmember institutions and unaffiliated individuals may still access and

What if this is my first contact with CIC
and I do not have a record in CIC's database?
Individuals may use the Sign
Up as a New Contact link to create a new record, then associate that
record with their institution's record in our database. Institutions without
a record in our database must submit a request to memberservices@cic.nche.edu
to create a new institutional record.
